Nicolás Bronzina

AI-Enhanced Futures Designer

Buenos Aires ↔ Madrid

Nicolás Bronzina profile picture

Your organization navigates uncertain futures. I build prototypes and design fiction artifacts that turn research into decisions you can actually act on.

Through BPP Analytics & Design, we combine research, futures design, and experimentation to support high-stakes strategic choices. I designed the Emerging Technologies course for UDIT Madrid’s Online Master’s in UX Design, and run workshops for design teams working with AI and futures methods. At Heated Studio, I help organizations imagine and prototype new climate futures.

Previously at Near Future Laboratory and Girardin & Nova, I’ve delivered design fiction projects for global clients across telecommunications, finance, defense, and mobility — turning abstract risk into artifacts teams can argue about.

I document futures design methods and experiments through Otros Futuros, a YouTube channel where speculative thinking becomes tangible practice. I also publish MARGIN.SIGNALS, an independent publication tracking early signals from cultural margins before they harden into mainstream trends.

Working on something that doesn’t have a clear future yet? Let’s talk (send email).

Projects

  1. Mercado San Telmo

A 100-year-old market, a city that keeps changing, a climate that doesn’t wait. Design fiction for San Telmo’s next chapter.

  2. Desert Athleisure

Sportswear for a 40°C+ world. A Heated Studio design fiction that gives retailers and brands something tangible to argue about before the heat arrives.

  3. Adaptive Museums

Museums as climate infrastructure. A prototype exploring what happens when cultural institutions have to choose between their mission and their survival.

  4. Cuidados en Red

Buenos Aires is aging. This design fiction reimagines what care looks like when the system built for the 20th century runs out of answers.

  5. OFFicial

Spain, near future. Climate refugees arriving faster than the institutions designed to receive them. A design fiction for the gap between policy and reality.

Writing

Future of Food

Food as a futures problem. What climate, culture, and politics are doing to what we eat — and what comes next.

Empanadas with design fiction elements exploring future Argentinean cuisine
  1. A Manifesto for a New Argentinean Cuisine
  2. What is carbon-neutral gastronomy?
  3. What is ethical meat and sustainable proteins tasting?
  4. The gastronomic offer of San Telmo Market in a 15-minute city

Otros Futuros

Futures design, design fiction, speculative design.

I’m a futures designer. I build prototypes and speculative artifacts for organizations that have to make decisions without knowing what comes next.

Weak signals from the present. Futures thinking methods. Speculative experiments, live. The orientation is toward making things: show future, don’t tell future.

What I’ve learned, what I’ve applied, what I’m still testing. From practice.

New content every week.
